Salame Strolghino is a typical product of the provinces of Parma and Piacenza. Obtained from the leanest parts of the pork leg, it is one of the most appreciated Italian cold cuts. It has a compact, ruby-red coloured paste and is cured for a short time to keep the meat soft and with a delicate taste. We suggest to cut it diagonally with a knife in order to obtain quite thick slices
