Piadina with Mortadella and Squacquerone cheese

Method

Brown the piadine on a hot frying pan for two minutes on each side.
Leave the piadine to cool for a couple of minutes.
Spread a little squacquerone cheese on one half of a piadina, then add two slices of mortadella.
Place more squacquerone cheese on the other half of the piadina and some basil leaves.
Season with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
Fold the piadina in two and repeat the same process for the other piadina.
Serve and enjoy.

  • 4 Piadina
  • 150g of Sliced Mortadella
  • 150g of Squacquerone cheese
  • A few leaves of fresh basil
  • Extra virgin olive oil as needed
