For the salad

Clean the turnips well, then brush and peel them.

Slice them with a cold cuts slicer.

Clean the chicory and chop it thinly.

Place the chicory and the yellow turnip slices in a plate, cut the slices of Lard in halves and make a little roll with each half; sprinkle with a few Chia seeds, salt and olive oil to taste.

This is a great and healthy appetizer.

Serve it with integral bread.


  • 12 thin slices of Grass lard
  • 1 yellow turnip
  • 1 Chioggia turnip
  • Cicory
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Chia seeds
  • Salt
